Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Operations Managers to provide oversight and support for financial matters for a given sub-function.
•Own all aspects of cost reporting and act as an independent challenge authority influencing decision-making to meet budget and stretch targets.
•Own provision of GCIO cost reporting and articulate key messaging through monthly and ad-hoc reviews with business and finance stakeholders.
•Collaborate with Financial Reporting and Financial Operations teams to shape reporting processes and ensure transactions are processed correctly with relevant business context.
•Actively participate in governance and working groups, drive GCIO-wide enhancements, and champion continuous improvement using technology and organisational design for operating efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Own cost reporting aspects including direct costs, recovery charges, budget interlock, and target setting, challenging independently to ensure technology services are delivered on budget and stretch targets.
•Partner with Operations Managers across Asia and Middle East Tech to provide oversight and support for financial matters for a given sub-function.
•Deliver cost reporting and key messaging through monthly and ad-hoc reviews with business/finance stakeholders (including COO and CFO), escalating funding issues and influencing forecasting and prioritisation.
•Collaborate with Financial Reporting teams and Financial Operations teams to ensure standardised reporting and processes meet wider stakeholder needs and that underlying transactions are processed correctly.
•Demonstrate leadership in a complex matrix environment with strong stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and proficiency using Excel/data analysis and PowerPoint, with beneficial experience in BI tools and ERP systems (Cognos, SAP, Fusion).
