Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, earnings releases, SEC filings, and the annual proxy statement with limited guidance.
  • •Prepare and review financial schedules, analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries for reporting cycles.
  • •Serve as an SEC and external reporting expert for special projects, including new regulations and accounting standards/systems implementations.
  • •Identify and research technical accounting issues and provide guidance to management and other departments.
  • •Support the external audit process, including preparing schedules for quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX 404 testing while maintaining reporting process documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year degree in Accounting and/or Finance (required).
  • •CPA required.
  • •4+ years of general accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate financial reporting with significant SEC reporting exposure.
  • •Strong GAAP, SEC reporting, and XBRL knowledge.
  • •Experience preparing/reviewing financial statements and drafting/reviewing notes to financial statements (MD&A, exhibits, etc.); lease accounting (ASC 842) preferred.
