Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet with mine engineers, geologists, and operations to determine the scope of needed survey.
  • •Ensure quality of survey work and associated documents including maps, reports, and survey records.
  • •Measure underground features (detail, line, grade) and collect detail as-built surveys using Leica instruments.
  • •Process survey data using Deswik and AutoCAD, and process point clouds using Leica Infin i ty and Leica Cyclone.
  • •Perform surface surveys of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF), monitoring wells, permit/claim boundaries, and other surface facilities as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Associates degree in surveying or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •2+ years' experience in survey work; underground mine survey experience preferred.
  • •Good understanding of surveying principles.
  • •Ability to use survey equipment to produce data and analyze/summarize into computer-generated reports and maps is required.
