Key Responsibilities

•Advocate for student support and collaborate with the student’s teacher to ensure appropriate learning provision.
•Ensure best seating/grouping and break down learning into smaller steps to scaffold progress.
•Support vocabulary building and extend learning through questioning, checking, and reinforcing understanding.
•Prompt and sustain focus and concentration, incorporate IEP targets, and support next steps with positive engagement.
•Keep records to maintain evidence of support and progress, attend ILSA group meetings, and support students during out-of-class activities when needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum A-Level or equivalent (certificate must be UAE Embassy and MOFA attested).
•Experience or aptitude for working with students; previous teaching or teaching assistant experience preferred.
•Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
•Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students.
•Good team player who can use their own initiative.
