Job Summary

Support development engineering by running test work on the manufacturing pilot line and in lab environments. Interpret technical instructions, troubleshoot tool/process issues, and suggest improvements to meet performance goals. Design, execute, and present engineering test data, including semiconductor device fabrication and electrical/optical measurements. Write SOPs and work instructions, operate and maintain tools with preventative maintenance, and coordinate engineering test execution on the Yellowstone line with minimal supervision.

Salary: USD 23.37 - 32.69 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years as a Development Engineer Technician I at First Solar.
•Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline) with 3 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years as a Development Engineer Technician I at First Solar.
•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline), without prior technical work experience.
•General electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
•Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and electrical or optical measurements.
