Job Summary

Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for datacenter memory and storage used across the Starlink roadmap, covering HBM, DDR5, enterprise SSDs, and related solutions. Partner with silicon architects, memory/storage engineers, and platform teams to set commodity strategy, build multi-year technology roadmaps, and maintain approved vendor lists. Negotiate high-value supplier agreements, forecast and allocate supply across SpaceXAI programs, manage inventory and risk, and optimize for cost, quality, speed, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

•Define commodity strategy, align multi-year technology roadmaps, and maintain approved vendor lists for HBM, DDR5, server DRAM, SSDs, and next-generation solutions.
•Orchestrate demand forecasting and allocation across SpaceXAI companies to support all programs.
•Lead global sourcing activities including supplier qualification, multi-sourcing strategies, and performance management to meet build schedules and reduce lead times.
•Negotiate agreements on pricing, volume commitments, and preferential allocation; secure supply at reasonable cost.
•Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans while driving cost reduction through should-cost analysis, long-term agreements, and value engineering.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in business, supply chain, or engineering, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.
•7+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or commodity management focused on semiconductors, memory, storage, or datacenter infrastructure.
•Deep technical understanding of datacenter memory architectures (HBM, DDR5, LPDDR, high-bandwidth solutions) and enterprise storage (SSDs, NVMe, storage-class memory).
•Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology or hyperscale environments with large-scale memory/storage sourcing responsibility.
•Experience negotiating and managing complex, high-value supplier relationships in supply-constrained markets.
