Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues.
  • •Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements, including developing methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
  • •Set up and maintain gauges; ensure processes run on target per the Process Control Plan and respond to SPC alarms.
  • •Execute planned process experiments: collect/analyze data and report experimental results; collect daily tool performance and related product performance data.
  • •Support pilot-line equipment for new process definition and transition new equipment/processes through start-up, qualification, and implementation, including training production associates and updating documentation.
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 23 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Candidates must qualify via one of: associate degree+ in a technical discipline, 2+ years machine/mechanic experience, 1 year First Solar technical experience, or 6 months as a Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar.
  • •Safety-first mindset.
  • •General electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line, with good English written and oral communication skills.
