Key Responsibilities

•Deputise for the pricing manager and support the development of junior members of the team.
•Lead pricing analysis and, when required, present to the Trading Forum and contribute to delivering agreed outcomes.
•Contribute to delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance and adherence to data controls.
•Regularly review pricing and underwriting monitors, escalating key points as needed.
•With the manager, define priorities and report on status of project work and rate reviews/analysis to support product and pricing development.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience with large data sets and strong command of Python, SQL, SAS or similar languages.
•Experience with pricing software tools such as Radar (Willis Towers Watson) or Earnix is desirable.
•Solid knowledge of statistical modelling methods, particularly GLMs, and machine learning techniques such as GBMs.
•Strong understanding of pricing decisions and ability to optimize price to meet business targets.
•Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
