Job Summary

Lead the delivery and growth of WSP’s Parking and Kerbside Management offer within the Liveable Places team in London. Own a diverse portfolio spanning parking strategy, CPZs, parking design/implementation, traffic management, public realm, and active travel—taking projects from concept to delivery. Build trusted relationships with local authorities and private-sector clients, bring innovation and market insight, and support leadership in expanding the offering across London and the wider UK.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and grow WSP’s Parking and Kerbside Management offering across London and the wider UK by securing work from new and existing clients.
•Develop trusted relationships with local authorities and private sector clients to support their parking, transport, and place-making objectives.
•Bring fresh thinking, innovation, and market insight to the Liveable Places team, including parking policy, kerbside management, and emerging mobility trends.
•Act as Project Director for parking, transport, traffic engineering, and public realm projects from concept through delivery.
•Collaborate with the Liveable Places team and other WSP colleagues to deliver integrated, innovative client solutions.

Key Requirements

•A civil engineering, transport planning, parking, highways, or related professional background.
•Significant experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects across the project lifecycle, with a strong background in parking strategy, parking design, kerbside management, and transport schemes.
•Proven ability to act as Project Director and Project Manager on complex projects.
•Proven experience managing significant client accounts, particularly with local authorities and public sector clients.
•A track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships, with an understanding of local authority parking and place-making challenges.
