Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide vision for future materials and methods from academic/consortium projects to guide roadmap solution selection.
  • •Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to drive technology development, ensure alignment/progress, and build strategic relationships.
  • •Identify, define, and drive SOW agreements to increase Micron exclusivity of equipment/chemistry/process solutions.
  • •Align process technology roadmaps across PD teams and resolve cross-organizational logistical issues.
  • •Guide and mentor senior technical contributors while preparing technical presentations, white papers, patent filings, and initiating collaborations with universities/research institutes.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with 15+ years, or Master’s with 17+ years, in relevant fields such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
  • •Extensive wet process development experience and deep understanding of memory technologies and semiconductor processing/devices.
  • •Strong record of technical contributions, publications, or patents in relevant domains.
  • •Strong understanding of process technology development strategy, surface science/analytic methods, and rational risk assessment.
  • •Deep familiarity with wet process technologies (e.g., vapor etch, wet strip, dry strip, selective chemical etching) plus electrical evaluation methods and fab metrology tools (e.g., CD-SEM, thickness measurement, particle counters).
