Key Responsibilities

  • •Support design delivery for Scotland’s water and wastewater programmes, helping shape design excellence at scale.
  • •Contribute to project work across areas such as water capital programmes, pipelines, pumping stations, and sewer upgrades.
  • •Help develop flood and surface water solutions, including retrofit of blue/green infrastructure and natural flood management.
  • •Support climate resilience and low-carbon design through systems, carbon-efficient materials, and renewable technologies.
  • •Work as part of multidisciplinary teams delivering integrated, data-driven engineering solutions across Scotland and the wider UK.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering subject (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, structural).
  • •Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
  • •Knowledge and experience working in the water sector.
