Job Summary

Support the team in connecting and evolving a research & development platform that spans software, infrastructure, and ML components. Help operate and deploy cloud-native systems based on Kubernetes, while transitioning the infrastructure toward OpenStack. Work with IaC (OpenTofu/Terraform), container and image tooling, and MLOps building blocks such as Kubeflow, MLflow, KServe, and MinIO. Also contribute to CI/CD automation, testing, documentation, and event-driven service integrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the layered IaC architecture using OpenTofu/Terraform for cloud infrastructure, platform services, and applications.
•Provide and maintain Kubernetes environments and related network, storage, and access configurations, aligned with the move toward an OpenStack-based cloud.
•Deploy components using Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes manifests; troubleshoot pods, services, logs, and events using kubectl.
•Support MLOps platform operations and model serving with Kubeflow Pipelines/Training Operator, MLflow, KServe, and MinIO; help register, deploy, and version ML models and set up training/serving pipelines.
•Work on event streaming and service integrations (Kafka, CloudEvents, REST/GraphQL, message queues, model inference protocols) plus tests automation, CI/CD pipeline build steps, and Markdown documentation.

Key Requirements

•Enrolled student in Informatics, Data Science, Computational Engineering, Electrical/Communications Engineering, or a related field.
•Solid Python knowledge and interest in reading and understanding unfamiliar code.
•Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
•Confident use of Git and the Linux command line.
•Independent, solution- and process-oriented working style with readiness to quickly learn new technologies.
