Job Summary

Work toward becoming a Retail Personal Banker I by completing a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail products for personal and small business needs, and proactively reach out using CAMP marketing tools. Cross-sell, meet production and customer-experience goals, partner with internal business teams, and process teller transactions while following risk and ethical policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events, as directed.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while following policies to mitigate fraudulent activity and manage risk.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
