Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage and develop a team of qualified Swimming Teachers, including recruitment, rotas, performance and development.
  • •Coordinate and grow the swimming lessons programme, introducing new sessions and courses to meet community needs.
  • •Ensure high-quality delivery of lessons that encourage retention and repeat participation.
  • •Build relationships with customers, schools and local partners to support outreach and programme growth.
  • •Monitor performance through reporting and KPIs, and support operational delivery including stepping in to teach where required.

Key Requirements

  • •Swim England Level 2 or STA Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification.
  • •Experience delivering or managing swimming lesson programmes with working with high customer volumes.
  • •Experience managing or supervising teams within a leisure or aquatics environment.
  • •Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust with customers.
  • •Confidence using IT systems and producing reports, alongside good communication and organisational skills.
