Key Responsibilities

  • •Representing the subject knowledge, understanding, and skills in all their richness to students taught.
  • •Plan lessons and schemes of work taking full account of individual learning needs, learning styles, preferences, and capabilities.
  • •Use excellent subject knowledge and pedagogic approaches to engage and motivate students in their learning.
  • •Assess, record, and report on students’ development, progress, and attainment, providing oral and written feedback.
  • •Maintain classroom and wider school safeguarding practices, including consistent disciplinary practices and protecting students from abuse, bullying, and corporal punishment.
