Key Responsibilities

  • •Manufacture electromechanical assemblies on time and to quality standards.
  • •Escalate blockers, issues, and health and safety concerns to the Work cell Leader.
  • •Liaise with Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering on technical issues.
  • •Accountable for COSHH and Calibration.
  • •Ensure 5S standards are met and liaise with Planning/Work cell leader to support plan familiarisation.

Key Requirements

  • •Understand industry standards IPC/WHMA-A-620D and IPC J-STD-001.
  • •Have experience with military equipment such as 19” Racks and other electromechanical assemblies.
  • •Use military and commercial crimp tools.
  • •Solder, including wire terminations per IPC J-STD-001, and rework of minor PCA assemblies.
  • •Interpret a build pack into a finished product unaided and use manufacturing tooling (Palma, Oracle).
