Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct high-quality, risk-oriented audits in Finance & Central Functions in line with Allianz SE Audit German Desk standards, as auditor and audit leader.
  • •Create value by identifying improvement opportunities across governance, risk management, and the internal control system.
  • •Develop and apply innovative audit approaches using data analytics and AI to identify risks, trends, and improvements efficiently.
  • •Collaborate constructively with specialist areas, management, governance functions, and other audit departments across Allianz.
  • •Propose ideas to advance audit approaches, methods, and tools and represent Internal Audit German Desk as a valued trusted business partner.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed university degree, preferably a master’s degree or comparable qualification.
  • •Several years of professional experience in external/internal audit or a relevant area such as risk, finance, controlling, actuarial, accounting, compliance, law, HR, or market management.
  • •Good understanding of governance, risk, and control processes in the insurance environment, with interest in developing them further.
  • •In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for financial services and/or insurance companies.
  • •Strong analytical skills with an interest in modern audit approaches, data analytics, and AI.
  • •Very good German (C1) and good English (B2).
