Key Responsibilities

  • •Configure, program, check out, and commission complex building automation systems with high attention to detail.
  • •Review and maintain installation and programming standards.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert for Trane controls, including third-party devices.
  • •Provide support for field installations, including remote connected support.
  • •Advise and guide field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors while collaborating with customers to resolve issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry as a Controls Technician or Controls Project Specialist (preferred).
  • •Proficiency in operation and design of HVAC systems, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls.
  • •Previous experience programming, commissioning, and startup of Trane control systems (familiarity with Automated Logic, Distech, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Tridium/Niagara is a plus).
  • •2+ year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Automation Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75% plus.
