Job Summary

Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to help prevent theft, violence, and rule violations. Circulate among guests and employees, control entry/exit, and patrol doors, windows, and gates. Operate detecting devices/metal detectors, screen for prohibited items, and respond to unauthorized activity. Write reports on irregularities and ensure safe venue operations, including supporting venue close-out and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property.
•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure to guard against theft and maintain security and safety.
•Patrol premises to prevent and detect intrusion and secure doors, windows, and gates.
•Operate detecting devices (including metal detector equipment) to screen individuals and restrict prohibited articles.
•Warn, apprehend, or evict violators; write reports of daily activities and irregularities.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
•Security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
•Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures in a business environment.
•Ability to perform duties professionally and make independent good-judgment decisions within policies and procedures.
