Job Summary

Support the kitchen team at One&Only The Palm Hotel by preparing and cooking authentic Greek dishes to resort standards. Prepare mise-en-place before service, assist senior chefs with daily operations, and maintain consistent quality, portion control, and ingredient freshness. Follow proper food storage, labeling, and FIFO rotation, and uphold hygiene and food safety practices aligned with HACCP guidelines. Help maintain kitchen equipment and support banquet/event needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Greek dishes according to resort standards and recipes.
•Prepare mise-en-place and support daily operation of the assigned Greek kitchen section with senior chefs.
•Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control; inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
•Follow proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO) and maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in line with HACCP guidelines.
•Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, assist with receiving/storing/monitoring stock levels, and support events/high-volume operations when required.

Key Requirements

•1–2 years of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
•Experience in Greek cuisine (preferred).
•Strong knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
•Motivated team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Commitment to high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and good English communication (additional language is an advantage).
