Key Responsibilities

  • •Support, monitor, test, and improve Microsoft Fabric data solutions, including pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses, semantic models, notebooks, and reporting assets.
  • •Assess data support needs by analyzing source systems, data quality, incidents, technical constraints, and readiness for new data and analytics solutions.
  • •Create practical support models, data solution designs, runbooks, remediation plans, and stakeholder engagement materials.
  • •Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL/Excel, Azure data services, Power BI, and Microsoft Foundry for AI/ML outcomes where needed.
  • •Track platform usage and performance, manage governance adoption (workspaces, security, access controls, refresh/deployment pipelines, capacity usage), and recommend continuous improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years’ experience supporting data platform, data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, application support, or solution delivery roles.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Fabric workspaces, Data Factory, lakehouses, warehouses, notebooks, semantic models, deployment pipelines, and Power BI integration.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline, refresh, access, performance, data quality, and integration issues across Fabric and related services.
  • •Experience creating support runbooks, data dictionaries, technical notes, user guides, release notes, and incident/support artefacts.
  • •Must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
