Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicles in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials, including using specialized equipment when needed.
  • •Maintain required paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and deliver documentation after route completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the weight of the vehicle operated.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical because trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
