Job Summary

Help strengthen safety programs at Samsung Austin Semiconductor by anticipating and evaluating hazardous conditions, designing hazard controls, and assessing their effectiveness. You’ll conduct incident investigations, site inspections, audits of pre-task plans and SOPs, and manage tiered preventative/corrective action closures. Partner with safety teams on training, monthly safety sub-committee meetings, and compliance with OSHA construction and general industry requirements in a semiconductor FAB environment.

•Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility.
•Develop and implement hazard control methods, procedures, and programs; advise and educate others.
•Conduct incident investigations and site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation.
•Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses, and standard operating procedures for compliance.
•Conduct employee training and support the daily management of a tiered auditing program, including closure of preventative and corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

•3 years’ experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required.

•Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines.
•Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to train others and handle stressful situations professionally.
