Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and assess client submissions to identify exposures and placement considerations.
  • •Lead quote and follow-market broking activity across Lloyd’s, London, and European international casualty markets.
  • •Develop placement strategies for complex risks and present terms, market insight, and recommendations clearly to clients and Aon colleagues.
  • •Manage firm-order broking to ensure accurate, timely execution and provide clear cover confirmation to clients and network partners.
  • •Review draft and final Market Reform Contracts and supporting documentation before binding; coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to team strategy and tenders.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in the insurance industry in a broking or underwriting environment, with strong market relationships.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of international casualty risks and insurance markets, including Construction, Natural Resources, or General Liability experience.
  • •Proven ability to manage complex placements, client relationships, and a portfolio with sound commercial judgement.
  • •Confident communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • •Ability to use relevant insurance technology and placement platforms to deliver efficient, high-quality client service.
