Job Summary

Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment to support earthwork, rough and finish grading, land clearing, and roadway construction projects. Perform daily equipment inspections, monitor performance, and report maintenance needs while maintaining cleanliness and preventative maintenance. Read construction plans and grade stakes, avoid underground utilities and overhead hazards, and follow OSHA and environmental safety requirements in outdoor quarry and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently for earthwork, grading, site development, roadway construction, and heavy civil projects.
•Perform rough and finish grading according to project plans, specifications, and grade stakes.
•Push, spread, level, and move soil, aggregate, and other construction materials.
•Read and interpret construction plans and directions from supervisors and grade shooters.
•Conduct daily equipment inspections, complete inspection reports, and maintain equipment cleanliness and preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years of experience operating a dozer in construction, earthwork, road building, site development, or heavy civil projects.

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Knowledge of safe dozer operating procedures and heavy equipment practices.
•Ability to understand and follow construction plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
