Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures compliant with ASC 606 and CECL under ASC 326.
  • •Develop procedures to bridge local GAAP/IFRS to U.S. GAAP across international jurisdictions for revenue recognition.
  • •Partner with billing and accounting systems/jurisdictions to enable correct revenue accounting and provide guidance to business leaders.
  • •Support and lead revenue-related close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and ensuring GL integrity and GAAP compliance.
  • •Improve collections and cash flows, enhance scalable processes/controls/systems, and support audits with external auditors.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in revenue accounting or financial reporting at a CPA firm on public company clients or at a public company.
  • •Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS revenue accounting, including time and material and fixed fee arrangements under ASC 606.
  • •Experience with accounting for professional services organizations.
  • •Experience with SAP FICO and professional services modules (plus).
  • •CPA (or equivalent) certification and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, including contract review and technical memo preparation.
