Job Summary

Lead end-to-end management of an assigned medication category within the Merchandise Division. Own category strategy and SKU portfolio, optimize pricing and promotions, and ensure product availability across stores. Build supplier partnerships and run Joint Business Planning to maximize commercial performance. Partner with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Store teams to drive revenue, gross margin, inventory turnover, and KPI performance while leading and developing the category team.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute category strategy and manage category assortment, revenue, profitability, SKU portfolio, and store coverage.
•Lead product lifecycle decisions including listing/delisting and introducing new or exclusive products while meeting regulatory and quality standards.
•Build and manage supplier partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements and promotional support, and lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiatives.
•Develop and implement category pricing and promotion strategies with Finance and Marketing; secure supplier investments and adjust promotions to optimize sales and margins.
•Partner with Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Store teams to optimize inventory levels, MDQ/distribution, planogram compliance, and KPI performance while leading and developing the category team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
•10 years in retail or FMCG category management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
•Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and category analytics tools.
•Ability to develop and execute category strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
•Experience managing SKU portfolio, category revenue/profitability, and store coverage for categories.
