•Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 engineers across streaming, data lakehouse, serving layer, and platform infrastructure
•Remove obstacles and organizational noise to enable the team to ship
•Own quarterly plan and sprint-level execution; translate OKRs into milestones with owners, timelines, and success criteria
•Coach engineers toward their next level with plans, feedback, and promotion sponsorship
•Champion engineering best practices including design reviews, ADRs, blameless post-mortems, automated testing, and data quality as a first-class citizen

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 240,000 annually

•Must-have: experience leading a team of 5–10 engineers building data infrastructure, data platforms, or backend systems at scale with servant leadership
•Background in software or data engineering; able to read Terraform plans and participate in streaming architecture discussions
•Proven track record of coaching engineers toward promotion and maintaining high retention
•Strong execution skills to create and maintain project timelines and proactively identify deviations
•Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical decisions to senior leadership and draft quarterly plans
