Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a crew of up to five on construction and maintenance work, including inspecting contractor work.
  • •Perform construction/maintenance duties such as installing vaults, pipe locating, and making gas main tie-ins; fuse plastic piping and branch saddle tie-ins.
  • •Investigate services and distribution grid system main extensions; review customer charge orders and change meter positions.
  • •Operate and maintain distribution machine shop/blacksmith equipment; operate construction/maintenance vehicles and lead prospecting crews.
  • •Perform work outdoors in varying weather, including re-lighting domestic appliances and preparing neat, accurate sketches for construction permits and records.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24 - 44.87

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • •Valid driver’s license with good driving record (eight points or less).
  • •Pass DOT Drug Test, DOT Physical, and respirator fit test.
  • •Complete a background check and all pre-employment assessments.
  • •Obtain/hold a valid Operators and Group A Commercial Driver’s License (CDLA) with Air Brake Endorsement and be certified to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
