Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project teams during execution of engineering projects to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • •Develop discipline-specific deliverables (design philosophies, calculation memos, data sheets) and verify technical content of process designs.
  • •Size and specify process equipment (water treatment, knock-out drums, heat exchangers, pumps, treatment units) and validate calculations using organization methods.
  • •Ensure all designs comply with international codes and client specifications (API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA, OSHA) and document technical specifications of rotating and static equipment.
  • •Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, assess risks, and communicate progress effectively.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years of experience in chemical/process engineering within Oil & Gas projects; engineering degree in chemical engineering or related field
  • •Proficiency with process design tools: Hysys, Pipephase, Pipesim; strong MS Office skills
  • •Experience leading technical teams and delivering engineering deliverables such as Process Design Basis, Equipment lists, P&IDs, and operating philosophies
  • •Ability to ensure designs comply with APIs, ANSI, ASME, NFPA, OSHA and client specifications; strong documentation skills
  • •Base location Bogotá, Colombia; willing to work onsite in Oil & Gas projects in OGNE sector
