Job Summary

Oversee and support all aspects of Greek kitchen operations, assisting the Chef de Cuisine in running daily service at One&Only The Palm. Maintain authentic, high-quality Greek cuisine standards while maximizing guest satisfaction, sales, and food cost control. Lead and manage the kitchen team in the Chef de Cuisine’s absence, supervise training, ensure hygiene and safety compliance, and develop seasonal menus and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and support Greek kitchen operations, assisting the Chef de Cuisine with coordinating and supervising daily runs of the kitchen department.
•Maintain the highest culinary standards for authentic Greek cuisine; ensure timely, efficient food preparation and service with excellent quality and presentation.
•Control food costs and manage kitchen expenses within budget; contribute to increasing sales.
•Supervise and support kitchen team members, including daily on-the-job training and assistance with monthly training programs.
•Ensure hygiene, health, and safety compliance, address guest feedback promptly, and develop and present innovative authentic Greek dishes, seasonal menus, and food promotions.

Key Requirements

•2–3 years of experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Greek cuisine in an upscale 5-star hotel or resort environment.
•Strong culinary knowledge of authentic Greek cuisine and the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food and presentation.
•Excellent personal and interpersonal skills, with flexibility as an active team player.
•Strong guest service mindset and commitment to achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
•Excellent communication skills in English (additional language proficiency is advantageous).
