Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct building condition assessments and prepare reserve fund studies and building condition reports for condominium corporations, property managers, and building owners.
  • •Develop capital plans to support long-term decision-making and responsible investment.
  • •Contribute to building and component investigation reports, design documentation, and technical appendices alongside senior professionals.
  • •Prepare remediation packages with specifications and drawings for contractors.
  • •Participate in building envelope reviews, restoration assessments, site investigations, condition verifications, and non-invasive field investigations, including travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Building Sciences, Architectural Science, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Eligibility or registration with CTTAM or EGM.
  • •Experience drafting using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • •Foundational knowledge of building materials, construction processes, building envelope systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
  • •Ability to interpret drawings, collect field data, and synthesize findings into clear, concise reports.
