Job Summary

Lead and deliver procurement and commercial activities for EPC and utility-scale construction services. Manage competitive bidding and RFP processes for contracts worth up to several hundred million dollars, evaluate proposals and suppliers, and negotiate awards while reducing operational, legal, and financial risk. Drive cost reduction, build sourcing strategies across environmental and engineering/permitting needs, and coordinate local efforts with global procurement teams. Produce reporting and support compliance with QSHE and procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive procurement and commercial purchasing for materials and services as the procurement and commercial lead.
•Lead and administer competitive bidding processes, including RFP/quotation/information requests, bid analysis, and risk evaluations.
•Evaluate and select suppliers based on procurement policy, quality of supply, cost savings objectives, budgetary requirements, and market analysis.
•Develop and execute procurement sourcing strategies (including environmental, engineering, and permitting services) and coordinate local US efforts with global procurement teams.
•Negotiate and award large construction contracts and supplier agreements in collaboration with internal/external legal counsel, while minimizing operational, legal, and financial risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 112,500 - 132,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Economics or a relevant field plus at least 5 years of applicable experience.
•At least 5 years of supply management experience, including conducting RFPs, negotiating pricing and contracts, and managing supplier relationships, quality, and KPIs.
•Experience performing economic evaluation for procurement of equipment and construction services.
•Knowledge of supply chain methodologies, models, practices, and procedures.
•Working knowledge of the global market for electrical equipment and materials, with a proven record negotiating contracts with global OEMs; experience in transmission and generation projects.
