Key Responsibilities

•Own city-level operations: manage day-to-day fleet health, deployment zones, and operational uptime for all active merchant locations in New Jersey, accountable for delivery metrics, uptime, and cost per delivery.
•Drive merchant success: onboard new restaurants, resolve incidents, and proactively improve the delivery experience.
•Manage the team: hire, train, schedule, and manage local operations staff, set expectations, and build a high-performing team.
•Report and improve: track city KPIs, surface insights to central leadership, and drive continuous improvement.
•Represent Coco locally: engage with community, neighborhood meetings, local press, and city officials.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience managing a hands-on, physical-world operation (e.g., restaurant GM, fulfillment center manager, field operations manager)
•Proven track record managing a direct labor workforce (hiring, scheduling, performance management, accountability)
•Metrics-driven operating style with KPI tracking and self-motivation to hit targets
•Extreme attention to detail with process-building to prevent recurrence and maintain standards
•Strong relationship management skills with restaurant operators, platform partners, and city officials
