Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, automation, and instrumentation systems onboard the Cutter Suction Dredger.
  • •Ensure safe and reliable operation of power generation, power distribution, dredging electrical systems, propulsion auxiliaries, and vessel automation.
  • •Perform planned preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
  • •Diagnose and rectify faults on PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, switchboards, generators, motors, sensors, alarms, and control systems.
  • •Maintain records and ensure compliance with ISM Code, Class, Flag State requirements, company procedures, and electrical safety regulations, applying PTW and LOTO before maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronics & Automation Engineering.
  • •5-10 years' experience on Dredger or in heavy industries with automation.
  • •Basic STCW training certification with a medical fitness certificate.
