Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a retail SME on industry trends, payment flows, and retail economics; develop and execute customized account strategies to increase revenue and market share in CEMEA.
  • •Lead executive-level pitches and workshops, manage RFP responses, and drive negotiation strategy and business casing/monetization models.
  • •Lead selected strategic regional or global retail merchant engagements and manage the account and relationship management sales plan to meet client business objectives.
  • •Own and manage a portfolio of merchant partnerships within the retail vertical—identify new and ongoing requirements, introduce products/services, and grow the business.
  • •Conduct financial and business analysis of strategic opportunities and serve as an internal and external thought leader on merchant partnership vision and strategy; partner cross-functionally to execute projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • •Proven B2B sales experience, negotiating business agreements, and driving commercial results in the retail industry.
  • •Extensive experience in payment products, including credit cards and pre-paid, with portfolio P&L expertise and analytics orientation.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build and leverage strong relationships at multiple levels, including C-level client executives.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (AI tools and agents are included).
