Job Summary

Lead program implementation and development for the World Relief Chad Country Office, providing strategic oversight for program quality, proposal development, coordination, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership for the Program Department, including supporting country strategy development and dissemination.
•Oversee the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs aligned with country strategy and donor requirements.
•Ensure robust MEAL systems are in place to demonstrate impact and support continuous improvement.
•Supervise and mentor sector leads and the MEAL focal point, including performance management and staff capacity building.
•Represent WR Chad with donors, government entities, and partners; oversee program activity plans and ensure timely, high-quality program reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Mature, personal Christian faith and commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, and values.
•University degree in a related field.
•At least 5 years’ experience in international relief and development with progressive leadership responsibilities (or at least 7 years in business management/leadership with increasing responsibilities).
•Experience with donors such as USAID, EU, FCDO, ECHO, and UN agencies, including serving in a hardship post in a complex emergency setting.
•Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), English and French communication, and the ability to manage budgets and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
