Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret and define new equipment applications by consulting with plant and field sales engineers.
  • •Develop complex drawings and bills of material to convey accurate purchaser equipment application details.
  • •Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
  • •Advise Drafting/Design, Manufacturing, and Purchasing on production needs and purchaser requirements; manage onsite purchaser visits for equipment release.
  • •Manage manufacturing and engineering change notices and support post-shipment quality issue resolution; conduct complex development/application projects and provide technical training/seminars as required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,000 - 85,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of one internship, co-op, or equivalent of 3 months of related experience (e.g., Capstone project).
  • •Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the Asheville, NC facility.
  • •No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
  • •Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering; plus related electrical/mechanical or manufacturing internship/co-op experience.
