Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform L1.5 activities such as monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
  • •Monitor Azure cloud system efficiency to help prevent outages and initiate incident management bridges during outages.
  • •Troubleshoot Azure resources and escalate to Level 3 (Software Development Team) when needed.
  • •Work with PaaS/IaaS components, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and database concepts (NoSQL vs SQL) for reliability.
  • •Support 24/7 operations with rotating shifts as required (rotation every 1 month or 2).

Key Requirements

  • •Perform L1.5 SRE activities including monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
  • •Understand Microsoft Azure Cloud, ideally with Azure Fundamentals certification or a Computer Science/Information Systems Management degree.
  • •Familiarity with Azure PaaS/IaaS and related technologies (VMs, Storage, EventHub, Service Fabric Cluster, AKS, CosmosDB, SQL Server, IoT Hub, Databricks, Key Vault, data lake).
  • •Understand on-prem virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix).
  • •Experience with automation, containers, databases, and observability tools, including Terraform/Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub/Ansible, Kubernetes, Python/PowerShell, and monitoring/logging (e.g., LogAnalytics, Splunk, ELK).
