Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal guidance on local contractual matters affecting Sales, Underwriting, Procurement, and Operations.
  • •Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts (e.g., distribution, outsourcing, reinsurance/retrocession, HR, marketing, leases, and license agreements).
  • •Handle regulatory issues and legal correspondence with relevant regulators.
  • •Oversee management of corporate litigation matters.
  • •Support corporate governance, audits, and implementation of insurance and antitrust compliance programs.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant law degree and a valid EU legal qualification.
  • •7+ years’ experience as a qualified lawyer in private practice or in-house, ideally in the insurance sector.
  • •Strong expertise in insurance contract law, corporate law, supervisory law, and litigation processes.
  • •Structured, analytical mindset to navigate complex legal challenges and deliver optimal legal solutions.
  • •Fluency in business English and the local language (additional languages a plus).
