Job Summary

Lead and co-develop the Clark Beverage Product Development & Applications (PD&A) team to deliver assigned projects on time and within budget. Drive innovation and RD&A cost savings from concept through commercialization, coordinating closely with Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Operations, QA, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. Support customer and Technical Services scale-up for successful launches, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective testing across shelf life and consumer/analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities

•Co-lead and develop the Clark Beverage Product Development & Applications (PD&A) team, including talent management, development programs, goal setting, and performance appraisals.
•Coordinate with internal functions (Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Operations, QA, Purchasing, and Supply Chain) to complete product development projects on time and within budget.
•Lead the innovation process and RD&A cost savings initiatives from concept to commercialization, meeting consumer and performance expectations.
•Assist customers and Technical Services with scale-up of R&D developments to ensure successful product launch and commercialization.
•Manage outside resources (suppliers, consultants, development partners) and maintain record keeping to support trade secrets and intellectual property strategy and risk.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,800 - 232,450 annually

Key Requirements

•BS in Quality, Food Science, Safety, Environmental, or a related field.
•MS or PhD in Food Science (preferred).
•Applicable food processing technology expertise plus statistical process experience.
•Strong background in food chemistry, sensory, microbiology, food packaging systems, and food engineering.
•5+ years industry experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
