Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and ensure effective implementation of the Project-specific QHSSE Management System across wind projects in the Red Sea region.
  • •Monitor, inspect, audit, and report QHSSE performance of contractors and service providers, including proactive risk management.
  • •Lead hazard identification and risk assessments, and provide direct oversight of high-risk activities (e.g., lifting, work at height, electrical works, confined spaces, turbine erection, traffic safety).
  • •Ensure contractors’ method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work meet contractual, regulatory, and international best-practice requirements.
  • •Oversee incident investigations, environmental management and regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness and response coordination, and occupational health aspects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, Environmental or related field).
  • •NEBOSH and/or IOSH certifications.
  • •8+ years’ experience for HSE Engineer or 12+ years’ experience for HSE Manager in a similar role.
  • •Practical experience in onshore wind and solar PV utility-scale infrastructure assets.
  • •Extensive experience working with IFC Performance Standards and/or EBRD Environmental & Social requirements, including HSE guidelines and related frameworks.
