Job Summary

Coordinate inbound and outbound truck transportation for a fast-paced aluminum manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective material movement. Work with internal teams and external carriers to schedule shipments, resolve daily tactical transportation issues, and secure freight at the lowest cost. Own daily carrier performance tracking and reporting, maintain carrier scorecards and ISO documentation, and support continuous improvement of shipping routes and logistics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Schedule and monitor truck shipments for inbound and outbound materials.
•Work with shipping locations to resolve daily tactical transportation issues.
•Schedule and secure freight daily at the lowest cost to support multiple business areas.
•Track and report carrier performance metrics daily; develop and maintain carrier scorecards.
•Maintain ISO documentation and support logistics and shipping continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Experience coordinating transportation activities for inbound and outbound shipments in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to schedule and secure freight while balancing safety, efficiency, and cost.
•Strong capability to track, report, and maintain carrier performance metrics and rankings.
•Familiarity with maintaining logistics documentation, including ISO documentation.
•Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives across shipping routes and logistics processes.
