Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and change over majority (or at least 75%) of assigned machines
  • •Troubleshoot and correct program, quality, technical, and mechanical issues; recognize and eliminate machine alarms
  • •Read and edit machine programs under engineering guidance, including performing program edits and code understanding
  • •Perform tooling setup tasks (tool changes, calibration, offsets using spindle probe; calculate/input X, Y, Z)
  • •Cross-train employees and support lean activities (including 5’s audits/process checks), CIF, daily Kazan’s, and 5S/safety and Quality Policy compliance

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (accredited institution)
  • •Minimum 6 years CNC machine setup experience in a manufacturing environment
  • •Must be a U.S. person to access export-controlled information (U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • •No relocation benefit offered; must reside within the immediate geographical area
  • •Experience with setting up CNC machines and/or lean tools is preferred
