Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply rotating equipment expertise to design and develop mechanical solutions for integrally geared process gas compressors.
  • •Review customer technical specifications/datasheets and size/select unit hardware (bearings/shafts/gears, dry gas seals, gearbox monitoring instrumentation, aero hardware).
  • •Provide engineering input into compressor/gearbox support systems (P&ID reviews, seal support, lubrication, noise attenuation, compressor control).
  • •Create and/or review and approve engineering drawings and documentation (data sheets, build sheets, quality/test reports) and conduct pre-release design reviews.
  • •Support assembly/testing and manufacturing/field activities, including troubleshooting and start-up/commissioning assistance; drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. degree in engineering (M.S. a plus).
  • •3-5 years of related engineering experience, including manufacturing, EPCs, and/or oil and gas industry.
  • •Sound engineering judgment and decision-making skills.
  • •Working knowledge of rotating equipment and related systems (e.g., gas seals, bearings, vibration/rotordynamics, controls, testing).
