Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum according to blueprint specifications.
  • •Set up and operate multiple machines and perform periodic maintenance based on travel documents and instructions.
  • •Maintain job progress and communicate concerns with appropriate team members.
  • •Perform quality work including measurements, visual inspections, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors.
  • •Identify process improvement opportunities and complete root cause analysis when issues arise; cross-train and stand in when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Minimum one year of experience as a machine operator or a graduate of a machine certificate program.
  • •No relocation benefit; must live within a 50-mile radius of the Sumter facility.
  • •Experience in sheet metal fabrication, including punch and bend tooling/processes, and reading blueprints/instructions.
