Job Summary

Build and enhance full-stack applications for Motorola Solutions’ Digital Transformation platform. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design system solutions, develop software, and improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market. Serve as a technical lead across multiple initiatives, triage complex issues across platforms and vendors, and measure/optimize performance while ensuring applications stay up to date.

Key Responsibilities

•Interact with IT and business stakeholders to understand application functionality and translate business/IT needs into technical and functional requirements.
•Develop software and systems for platform infrastructure and applications, including building new applications or enhancing existing ones.
•Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market by measuring and optimizing system performance for continuous improvement.
•Support and engineer multiple large distributed software applications; keep applications, software, and hardware up to date.
•Serve as a technical lead by partnering with development teams, estimating modules, testing work, reviewing team code, and providing constructive feedback.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of engineering or BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
•7+ years of software development experience in the IT industry.
•Experience developing with Angular, React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, .NET, XML, and jQuery; strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills.
•Expertise building APIs and web services using SOAP and RESTful approaches.
•Extensive RDBMS knowledge (DML SQLs, stored procedures/functions/triggers) using PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL, plus familiarity with CI/CD and testing/quality management.
