Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise production line/department personnel to ensure procedures comply with company policies (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs) and federal/state regulations while achieving productivity targets and customer specifications.
  • •Manage and adjust production procedures to meet schedules, increase efficiencies, and meet or exceed budget objectives.
  • •Deploy, rotate, and optimize personnel for effective production scheduling and ergonomics; ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded.
  • •Identify and communicate opportunities for process optimization and lead or participate in process improvements while monitoring metrics and responding to negative trends.
  • •Ensure food-safe operations in partnership with Quality Assurance, follow and enforce safety initiatives/PPE requirements, and mentor/train/cross-train employees while administering performance improvement and disciplinary actions fairly.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of experience in a manufacturing setting (3+ years in food manufacturing or the poultry industry preferred).
  • •1+ year of leadership experience, including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and efficient issue resolution (3+ years preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations including OSHA, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with internal and external customers; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree with relevant coursework preferred).
