Key Responsibilities

•Lead Brand Strategy: develop brand strategies, define positioning, architecture, and narrative territory; partner with clients on long-term brand platform thinking and immediate commercial opportunities; translate global strategy into locally resonant brand direction.
•Drive Creative Strategy: uncover insights and cultural signals to fuel creative platforms; write inspiring briefs; shape the strategic spine of campaigns and content ecosystems; collaborate with creatives to elevate ideas.
•Design Integrated Communications: architect holistic communication systems across Paid/Owned/Earned/Shared channels; ensure brand building and demand generation work together; connect upstream strategy to downstream execution.
•Bring Human, Cultural, and Commercial Insight: decode consumer behavior and market dynamics; turn data into perspective and opportunities; identify whitespace and growth across audiences and channels.
•Lead Clients and Influence the Business: act as trusted strategic partner to senior client stakeholders; lead strategic conversations and pitches; drive alignment across local/regional/global teams.

Key Requirements

•8–12+ years of experience in strategy / planning / brand consulting / creative agency planning / marketing strategy.
•Strong track record in brand strategy, communications strategy, and creative development.
•Meaningful FMCG brand experience and understanding of pace, complexity, and commercial realities; experience with multinational clients and/or Japan-origin global brands.
•Proven ability to lead senior client relationships and high-stakes strategic conversations; experience leading pitches and major proposals.
•Fluent Japanese and business-level English; ability to lead discussions and write clearly in both languages.
