Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor SIEM, trouble tickets/email escalations, and logs from ICS/OT infrastructure components (SCADA, HMI, PLC, RTU, control servers) and network/security devices (switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • •Design, implement, test security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) processes and troubleshoot automation capabilities.
  • •Develop and maintain SOAR playbooks; examine escalated tickets to determine true positives vs false positives.
  • •Perform malware analysis, threat hunting, and threat modeling; assist forensic investigation with reports and supporting information.
  • •Serve as an L2 escalation layer in the SOC, mentor Level 1 SOC analysts, and improve tuning of signatures/rules/alerts/parsers and remediation recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • •5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), cybersecurity operations, incident response, or related security functions.
  • •5+ years working with SIEM or Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) technologies.
  • •5+ years developing or implementing security automation using Python, SOAR platforms, or similar technologies.
